Dampen Floating Sauna – (Fjærland)

(5/5) I don’t think a sauna can have a better view. My husband and I did the drop in appt. And had the whole dock to ourselves. It was an amazing and even sweat followed by a jump into the cold fjord. Wish we could have stayed to sit on the dock all day.

(5/5) Highly recommended. Not only as sauna in this cold region, on rainy day, but also as entertainment and experience that will never be possible in other places. Also, in the evenings there’s no much to do in the evenings anyway. So we took a bikes and had a scenic ride. Interesting changing room! With taste and old fashioned as at grandmas attic! Very clean sauna itself but the vibe depends on people you share sauna with. For that reason I would recommended to take the more private option, smaller sauna on the shore. It is also very instagram style! We have been in rainy day so the difference between cold water and sauna warmth was even more significant (when people were not walking back and forth). The owner is tactful and aesthetic, price more than reasonable. I would definitely come back!

(5/5) Excellent sauna, magnificent views. Definitely one of the highlights on our trip to Norway. The sauna was modern and built well, temperature was perfect. Of course the view from inside was breathtaking, could have spent hours there. Definitely stop here if you have the time. Taking a swim from time to time was refreshing. Shower was a nice bonus, but keep in mind that it's outside, and the water doesn't seem to be heated. There is a separate proper shower nearby, but we didn't need to use it. We will definitely try to visit again, but it's a bit of a long drive from Finland sadly.

(5/5) I have been in this sauna during my short stay in Fjærland and it was a beautiful experience. I booked through the website the 1 hour drop in option (that costs 170 NOK, about 15€): it was the last shift of the day so I was there alone for most of the time, except the initial 15 minutes when 2 other couples were still there. I also dived in the fjord from the roof, a very exiciting experience even though the water was freezing. There's a small garage where you can change clothes and leave your bag, but it's not guarded so I wouldn't leave anything valuable there. There's also an outside shower, so it's a good idea to bring 2 towels, one for the sauna and one for the shower.

(5/5) Eine der besten wenn nicht sogar die Beste Sauna die ich bis jetzt genießen durfte. Kein unnötiger Schnickschnack wie Duft, Salz oder Aromen. Hier ist die Kulisse der Hauptakteur. Die Sauna ist groß genug um theoretisch mit bis zu Zehn Personen drinnen zu Sitzen, ob die schwimmenden Tanks die Sauna dann noch tragen ist eine andere Frage, denn man muss sich bei der Platzwahl gut aus nivellieren damit man keine Schlagseite bekommt. Der FJÆRLAND Fjord hatte im Juni angenehme 12° Celsius und war eine angenehme Abkühlung. Der Preis wird pro Stunde abgerechnet und ist über die Internetseite vorab zu Buchen und zu zahlen.Die Umkleiden ist in einer stilechten Norwegischen Hütte. Frischwasser kann man aus dem Schlauch trinken. Im gleichen Slot war auch eine amerikanische Familie in der Sauna mit der man sich gut austauschen konnte.ACHTUNG das Wasser aus dem Fjord ist Salzwasser und hat nichts im Aufgusseimer zu suchen.Absolute Empfehlung.

(5/5) Die Sauna lohnt sich sehr! Im Internet steht, dass es keine Duschen vor Ort gibt. Ich hab jedoch eine kleine Outdoor Dusche neben der Land Sauna gesehen. Die öffentliche Dusche ist sonst auch sehr nah. Auch bei 15° und Regen ein Top Erlebnis!

(4/5) Sauna wymaga wcześniejszej rezerwacji przez stronę internetową (minimum dwie godziny wcześniej). Cena jest ok. Na miejscu jest czysto, spokojnie i przyjemnie.

(2/5) Nette Location aber die Besitzer sind überaus unfreundlich. Hier würde ich nicht mehr hin. Zum Glück gibt es an jedem See und Fjord schöne Saunen hier in der Gegend
