Rent a Sauna – (Kvaløya)

If you're not local and you don't know where to go, the guys from North & Beyond will kindly share a location of their secret spot with an absolutely stunning fjord&mountain view. The sauna is professionally made and it's super easy to operate. And if you're like me and you love camping but you struggle with cold evenings and nights, you will love it.

(5/5) Been in a few saunas in my life and this was just amazing. Delivered to our campsite by a frozen fjord with ease by the company. Fantastic service, all the bells and whistles at a fair price.Cannot recommend this experience if you like or would like to experience a sauna.

(5/5) A portable sauna - what a brilliant idea! Let's say you're exploring northern Norway. You did the touristy Lofoten thing, maybe you spent some time on the mainland (Troms og Finnmark). You've been camping and walking a lot. You're thinking of treating yourself to some rest & relaxation. Good for you! I can tell you there is no need to debate a lot whether to splurge on this. Do it. Your friend Simon will set you up in a private little space where you can park your van or car right up next to the sauna and spend a full day on self-care. Let it all hang out! The sauna's wood stove has a boiler integrated in the flue, so you can mix a bucket of hot and cold for the portable shower that comes with your rental. Sauna, dip in the cool water of the fjord, have a hot shower, chill out for a bit, repeat. Heavenly! You won't regret this rental for a second.

(5/5) We spent 6 days travelling around Tromsø with an Artic Camper Van and for the last evening we decided to rent the new portable sauna from them. Simon (the handy builder) drove it outside the city and placed it in front of the fjord in a parking area, great for privacy and to set our camp comfortably. The sauna is a good size to fit up to 6 people and still have the delicious wooden smell of being new. After a helpful explanation, we were alone to enjoy the warmth and cozy time inside. Soon after, the sky started to glow green and decided to set our camera to capture the Northern Lights in the open sky while we watched through the windows (noticed the round window rescued from a ship). After 3h of sauna, we mixed the warm water from the boiler to have a wonderful shower and dry ourselves with the towels provided. This was such a unique and fantastic way to enjoy the Auroras while being sweating inside and relaxing after our exploring holidays. Totally recommended!!

(5/5) Having a sauna delivered in our garden was the best birthday present I have ever come with and the most appreciated! The sauna is super beautiful, quite discreet and it got pretty hot!! We enjoyed it almost daily with beautiful northern lights outside and snow and we still had our bathroom at reach. No need to be out in the wild, it is just as great at home in your garden! A great way also to finish a Saturday night among friends. But the best part is the service: if you rent it while Simon is travelling you may get it 10 days for the price of one !!! We will book it again this winter - Simon, just let us know when you are travelling 🙂

(5/5) Holy wow. Probably our favorite evening in Tromsø, and we are 4 fairly serious sauna/hot spring/etc folks. I couldn’t say enough good things about the sauna, service, and Simon if I tried, but I will anyway. Simon was super helpful with my iffy international phone situation, and communicated with me by phone when possible & email when I couldn’t use the phone, so that was easy. Simon gave us the pro tips on operating the sauna so we didn’t have to Nancy Drew anything. He made sure we had all the wood & other accessories we would need, literally all we had to do was drive up with food, drink, towels & swimsuits. I asked him if there was someplace a little more secluded where we might be able to get in the fjord & maybe see some northern lights, and he delivered - he pointed that thing RIGHT AT THE SHOW in a really beautiful quiet spot a short drive from where we were staying. We all thought it was the best night on this trip, and maybe ever. I know we lucked out with the weather & auroras, but please just do this if you’re thinking about it. We’re definitely remembering this as the highlight of our trip. THANK YOU SIMON & RENT A SAUNA! Ya’ll are the best.

(5/5) Excellent and accommodating service. We rented this sauna for a party and it really kicked everything up some notches! The sauna is spacious and easy to control the temperature of. It can get insanely hot if you'd like to. You can really tell that a lot of effort went into building it, because it looks cool! Worth every krone.

(5/5) Wir hatten eine überaus wunderschöne und unvergessliche Zeit. Die Sauna ist nach der Einführung kinderleicht zu bedienen, sie ist wunderschön gebaut und sehr gemütlich. Unsere Sauna stand direkt bei North & Beyond auf dem Grundstück unten abgelegen am Wasser und wir durften mit unserem Camper direkt neben der Sauna stehen. Wir haben die Sauna viele Stunden in vollsten Zügen genießen können und dank dem heißen Wasser aus dem integrierten Boiler zum Schluss eine traumhaft warme Dusche bekommen. Zu dem unvergesslichen Erlebnis mit der Sauna hatten wir einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Wasser, die Brücke und Tromsø. Außerdem konnten wir noch mehrere vorbeifahrende Schiffe, einen neugierigen Seehund und eine große Herde Rentiere in unserer direkten Nähe beobachten. Das Team von North & Beyond ist super freundlich und sehr herzlich. Auch der Preis für die Sauna ist sehr fair. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße Jan & Steffi aus Deutschland

(Pun intended) For en briliant idé å bygge badstu på henger, og for en HERLIG helg vi har hatt med denne.Kan bare forestille meg hvor fantastisk det må være å dra badstua med ned i fjæra på yttersia og kombinere badstu med bading i havet fra ei strand...Vi parkerte ved siden av huset på Tromsøya fredags ettermiddag, og etter en enkel klargjøring fyrte vi opp umiddelbart. Det tar ca. 20-30 minutter så er det varmt nok, og her blir det etterhvert mer enn varmt nok for den mest hardbarka Saunaist!Snøbading for å kjøle seg litt ned innimellom var både deilig og artig for barna såvel som for de voksne. Det er sånn gode minner lages! Dette kommer ungene til å huske med glede.De voksne lot seg friste av kalde øl og diverse cocktail's med is. Det er derfor noget usikkert hva som minnes av de seneste timene, men alle var vi enige om at dette var så absolutt verdt pengene og vi kan ikke vente til neste gang!Tusen takk til rentasauna.no for en himmelsk opplevelse. En ellers litt grå helg ble forvandlet til minner for livet.
